"When your trainer has the ability to give you feedback on each specific rep, and start connecting your brain to your body, you begin to substantiate the idea that "smarter" always beats "harder."

Question: Why did you originally decide to do private training at CPG?
Answer: I was unexpectedly recruited to tryout for a women's semi-pro soccer team based out of Chicago. Rumor on the street had it that CPG was one of the best places to train in the city, and I was in desperate need of a trainer who could do 2 things at once: (1) Keep my body safe, but (2) Maintain that safeness while also increasing my strength, power, and endurance.

Question: What are the 1 or 2 most important benefits you've experienced from private training at CPG?
Answer: The very first thing that came to mind was a much deeper understanding of my own body mechanics. I'm not just talking about the "generic" understanding of my body, I'm talking about understanding things like-the way tilting your pelvis and depressing your rib cage influence your core power (try saying that 3 times quickly). When your trainer has the ability to give you feedback on each specific rep, and start connecting your brain to your body, you begin to substantiate the idea that "smarter" always beats "harder." The second thing that came to mind was alignment and energy. I walk out of the gym feeling more "put together" than when I step in the door-on both a physical and emotional level.

Question: What would you say to someone who is considering investing in private training at CPG?
Answer: Investing in CPG-in my mind-is the equivalent of getting your master's degree in your own body's mechanics. You are going to be equipped with information and tools that last you a lifetime, and that all comes with the added benefit of being a PART OF A TEAM AND CULTURE that genuinely cares to help you reach your goals. I don't see this type of training as an "investment," I see it as a necessity.

Question: How would you describe the level of coaching and instruction you receive?
Answer: One word... Unparalleled. Okay, maybe three... Life-changing.

"Unparalleled life-changing" coaching.
